NICK
Nick had a big stick
and he wanted to kill a tick.
The tick ran up a brick
and Nick stepped on a yellow chick.
The yellow chick kicked Nick
and now he feels all sick!

In the Kitchen
The head of lettuce
boldly tousled its leaves
and openly and proudly
flirted with the cabbage.
Using the eyes of a potato,
a cabbage was calmly watching
a watermelon heart.
The watermelon embarrassed and blushing
stepped on the tail of the onion.
The onion shouted scattering his scent
and made everyone in the kitchen cry.
The garlic sharpened its clove
and sank it in the heart of an artichoke.
The artichoke jumped and scratched the lettuce
and pricked the poor cabbage,
that in turn pulled the silk tassel of a corn on the cob
that started to cry hugging the onion,
that was also crying for his tail.

La cabeza de lechuga
frunció sus hojas atrevida
y muy oronda y presumida
coqueteo con el repollo.
El repollo muy tranquilo
con los ojos de una papa,
miraba embelesado

Who is it?

It follows me,
.....................I avoid it.
It scares me,
.....................I hide.
It touches me,
......................I escape.
Who is it?
......................I don't know.
What does it want?
......................I don't know that either.
......................It doesn't rest.
It doesn't seem to get tired.
It is attached to my feet.
Nobody has introduced us.
Nobody can snatch it.
I believe that I am condemned
to have it near me all my life!

¿Quién es?
Me sigue,
.....................la evito.
Me asusta,
------------ me escondo.
Me alcanza,
-------------la esquivo
¿Quién es?
--------------No lo sé
¿Qué quiere?
........................Tampoco.
No se cansa,
--------------no descansa,
no me deja,
-----------está
............................pegada
.....................................a mis pies.

The ant / eagle
In the field a small ant
stood up on a rock.
It stretched his little body
and the breeze took it up and then pounded it down
landing it on the floor.
He felt like a hawk.
A little while later,
he said "No, not a hawk....I am an eagle"
that flies over the clouds of the sky,
my wings conquer the wind.
And thus, he began to roam the fields telling everybody
that he had overcome the wind
and touched the sun with his wings.

Over and over again

One drop followed another.
They were running.
They wanted to touch the sun.
They forgot to hold hands and
disappeared in the air.
They became cold,
dropped back to earth,
where the race starts anew.
