Chameleons

Chameleons come in yellow, blue and green
Some even come as black as a limousine.
They also come in pink, brown and red;
some even have horns on their head.
Sometimes when they are green,
they hide in the bushes and never be seen.
There is a chameleon sitting in the heat
out goes his tongue and he finds a treat.
Because of the chameleon clever espionage
the fly is a victim of it’s camouflaged
with bright colors will find a mate.
After that they can go out for a date.

Nicky's Dragon

His wings are small
and his eyes are very large.
His blue, gray body is round and plump.
One stubby arm is waving sweetly.
I want to hold him very tight.

Fat Rats - Ratas gordas

Every day I put:
bread for the birds,
peanuts for the squirrels.
I leave nothing for the rats.
The food is for the birds and squirrels only!
But, why are the rats getting fatter?....

Todos los días dejó
pan para los pájaros
cacahuates para las ardillas,
pero nunca nada para las ratas.
La comida es solo para los pájaros y las ardillas.
Entonces, ¿Por qué las ratas están engordando?

NICK

Nick had a big stick
and he wanted to kill a tick.
The tick ran up a brick
and Nick stepped on a yellow chick.
The yellow chick kicked Nick
and now he feels all sick!

In the Kitchen

The head of lettuce
boldly tousled its leaves
and openly and proudly
flirted with the cabbage.
Using the eyes of a potato,
a cabbage was calmly watching
a watermelon heart.
The watermelon embarrassed and blushing
stepped on the tail of the onion.
The onion shouted scattering his scent
and made everyone in the kitchen cry.
The garlic sharpened its clove
and sank it in the heart of an artichoke.
The artichoke jumped and scratched the lettuce
and pricked the poor cabbage,
that in turn pulled the silk tassel of a corn on the cob
that started to cry hugging the onion,
that was also crying for his tail.

La cabeza de lechuga
frunció sus hojas atrevida
y muy oronda y presumida
coqueteo con el repollo.
El repollo muy tranquilo
con los ojos de una papa,
miraba embelesado

Who is it?

It follows me,
.....................I avoid it.
It scares me,
.....................I hide.
It touches me,
......................I escape.
Who is it?
......................I don't know.
What does it want?
......................I don't know that either.
......................It doesn't rest.
It doesn't seem to get tired.
It is attached to my feet.
Nobody has introduced us.
Nobody can snatch it.
I believe that I am condemned
to have it near me all my life!

Me asusta,

¿Quién es?
--------------No lo sé
¿Qué quiere?
........................Tampoco.
No se cansa,
--------------no descansa,

Nadie me la ha presentado.
Nadie me la puede quitar.
Yo creo que estoy condenada a tenerla siempre junto mi toda la vida.
